What is Aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy is a branch of herbal medicine in which essential oils are used for the purposes of treatment, healing, and cultivation.
Essential oils are extracted from the part that carries the scent in plants hence the name:
aroma = scent, therapy = healing.
The sense of smell was the most ancient and unmediated of the senses - everything in the brain's response to smell is immediate.
Essential oils have a fast ability to penetrate the body, they penetrate us through thinking the smell, through the skin, and through the digestive system.
The use of oils and aromatic plants has been documented since time immemorial.
The essential oils, aromatic oils and aromatic plants have been used ever since for healing, meditations, rituals, pleasure.
Aromatherapy is an effective holistic method of treating health problems and can also be combined with other holistic treatment methods.

According to countless studies conducted over the years, it has been discovered that the essential oils are characterized by a unique chemical composition which gives them the following properties:
Antiseptics - Most of the essential oils are known for their wonderful ability to disinfect
Anti-inflammatory and infectious - oils that treat inflammation and pain caused by inflammation such as nutmeg used to treat arthritis and red thymus for the treatment of the streptococcus bacterium.
Antiviral - by their ability to penetrate the envelope of viral cells and act inside the cell for example - Melissa essential oil used to treat various types of herpes.
The oils are antibacterial - the oils stimulate various types of pollution, for example, cinnamon essential oil
Anti-fungal - the oils effectively treat various fungal conditions, for example, copaiba and patchouli oil
Each essential oil has its own unique properties, but as a synergistic mixture, the oils enhance each other in the therapeutic activity for which they are intended.
